Great news in the advancement of Digitalization of cleft care.

Two videos on Digital Cleft care workflow are now available: 

• Digital workflow in cleft care during the mixed dentition stage
• Protocols for the Digital workflow in cleft care during the infancy stage

These new videos were developed to demonstrate the Digital Workflow with real patients showcasing how treatment procedures can be enhanced through the use computer-aided manufactured (CAM) devices employing milling or 3D printing technology.

In addition, the Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) in Digital Dentistry in Cleft Care is now accessible in three additional languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese. This course provides guidance and scientific expertise to support the effective integration of the latest digital technologies into the cleft care continuum.

The learning outcomes for this four-hour course include to state the benefits and applications of digitalization in comprehensive cleft care, understand the patient journey through a digitalization care pathway and understand the role digitalization will play in the future of dentistry.
