The FDI Sustainability Award plays a pivotal role in encouraging and recognizing sustainability efforts within dental practices and among dental professionals worldwide. FDI promotes environmental responsibility in dentistry

This year, FDI proudly honoured three winners for their leadership and commitment to advancing sustainability in dentistry:

  • Healthpoint Hospital (United Arab Emirates)
  • Australian Dental Association (Australia)
  • Dr Hindol Das (India)

The awards were presented at the FDI World Dental Congress in Shanghai on 10 September 2025, celebrating the achievements of these sustainability champions on a global stage.

Their accomplishments reflect the diverse and international efforts being made to reduce dentistry’s environmental footprint and to promote sustainable practices in both clinical and organizational settings.

These awards highlight the profession’s shared commitment to a greener future and recognize the important role dental professionals and institutions play in shaping environmentally responsible healthcare.
