Bo Danielsen graduated from the Royal Dental College, Aarhus, Denmark in 1986. Bo has worked with research and education his whole carrier. He has been external assessor of dental educations in several European countries and been involved in describing a common framework for an educational curriculum for Dental Hygienists in Europe. Since 2010 Bo has been Director of the School of Oral Health Care, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Bo is President for the Danish Society of Periodontology and has been working for Dentistry Without Borders in several countries. Bo has been visiting professor at National University in Manila, The Philippines. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and acted as reviewer. Bo’s main interest is to develop the best learning opportunities for his students so they can become practitioners of health promotion and prevention. Bo has been appointed Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog.
