Wilson Lee
Dr. Wilson Lee obtained his Master of Orthodontics and specialist training from the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
He is a member of the Specialty Board of Orthodontics in Hong Kong, Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong and examiners of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong.
He is the Incognito Key Opinion Leader (KOL) of 3M Oral Care since 2010 and is an user of WIN lingual system.
He has been invited to speak in international conferences in UK, USA, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Taiwan, Malaysia, Ukraine, as well as conducting international Incognito certification courses. He has obtained the Titular Membership of European Society of Lingual Orthodontics in 2018.
He is involved in several charitable organizations, and has raised over US$1 million for charity in the past several years. He is now the Vice Chairman of The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society, Director of Little Yellow Flower Foundation, and Charity and Outreach committee of The Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club.

Abstract :
Invisible orthodontic appliances have undergone a significant paradigm shift since millennium began, revolutionising the way orthodontic treatment is delivered. Previously, metal braces were the traditional mode of treatment, which were visible and often uncomfortable. However, advancements in orthodontic technology have led to the development of invisible orthodontic appliances including lingual appliances and aligners, which are designed to be virtually invisible and more comfortable for patients. The biomechanics and indications are different in both appliances and we have to be aware of the limitations in each appliances. Although aligner is a popular invisible orthodontic appliance, clinician should be aware that there are others available option in expert orthodontist’s hands. Dr. Lee will discuss with illustration of clinical cases about the various treatment options in contemporary orthodontic practice.
