Prof Ferdi Allaf

He graduated from Marmara University İstanbul Faculty of Dentistry in 1999. In 2000, he started Orthodontics PhD at Yeditepe University Istanbul Faculty of Dentistry. In 2004, he received the title of Orthodontic Specialist and opened his first dental clinic in Bakırköy, İstanbul.

Since 2004, he has been providing treatment services to his patients with a focus only on Orthodontics. Today, he continues to provide Orthodontic treatment services to his patients with the latest technology methods and techniques in his own multidisciplinary private dental clinics in four different clinics in Istanbul, two in Bakırköy, Nişantaşı and Sancaktepe. To date, he has treated over seven thousand Orthodontic patients.

He received Damon certificate in 2014 and Invisalign certificate in 2017. In 2018, he took part as an observer Orthodontist in Brooklyn Mizrahi Orthodontics Clinics in New York.

Abstract:

The lecture will cover: etiology of open bite, diagnosis (skeletal and dental), treatment strategies and options, biomechanics of open bite closure, absolute extrusion versus relative extrusion, molar intrusion, finishing after anterior open bite closure, TAD assisted molar intrusion for bite closure, evidence-based approach for patient treatment, case presentation with interactive discussion and questions and answers.
