Global Chief Dental Officers

The Chief Dental Officers/Dental Public Health Section uses the term Chief Dental Officer (CDO) as a generic term that describes the one person in a country that is currently officially appointed as the senior civilian federal government policy authority in oral health. In countries that do not have a national CDO, the representative of the organization where the regional CDOs come together nationally is listed. While our Section strives to keep this global CDO list up to date, we realize that periodic changes take place in CDO position incumbents in all countries and that that information may not be immediately available to our Section. For this reason, we welcome FDI Regular and Associate Members to help us continually update this list by contacting the FDI Webmaster when the incumbent of their national CDO position changes.
