General Assembly

The FDI General Assembly is the supreme legislative and governing body of the FDI. The General Assembly sets FDI policies, the Strategic Plan, FDI Missions and Aims and monitors progress on the achievement. The Assembly meets once a year, to approve the annual budget, receive the reports and take necessary action on reports of the Council, elects Regular, Associate, Affiliate and Supporting Members, Committee and Council members and the Speaker. The General Assembly also elects Members of the List of Honour and award FDI Awards.

The voting members of the General Assembly are the delegates of the Regular Member Associations. Non-voting members and individuals with the privilege to attend the General Assembly, without the automatic right to speak or the right to vote are defined by the FDI Constitution.
